Several years ago, after a marriage and a birth of the child, I started to be interested in fishing. Though fishing I loved since the childhood, but only in the course of time it has grown from a simple hobby into serious passion - "SPINNING". Now I carry myself into a category of spinning-fans (all abrupt professionals sit in Kiev and laugh from provincial fishermen).   But in turn, as I  am professionally engaged with IT-tecnologies and system administration, I have decided to develop this web site which would help both professional fishermen and beginners in selecting  a necessary fishing-rod.

THE SITE

http://rod.kvazarvps.com - is not a website, but the access web interface to my database of spinnings. Initially as the spinning-fan I used simple Chinese reels and telescopic spinnings worth $3-$5 and thought there is no sense to buy such expensive toys. But as time went by, my reels and spinnings became more and more expensive, and each time while purchasing a new spinning I faced a problem: What to buy? How not to lose? How to spend a little money for a good quality?
And each time it was necessary to surf  tons of sites, manufacturers and fishing forums. To choose 2-3 variants and then if it is possible, to find a store and take these variants into hands - to make a final choice. And I got an idea to grab out all spinnings into a database, so then I’ll be able to make queries to get samples of fishing-rods on any criteria, and to sort result by corresponding parameters. Now the algorithm of a choice of a spinning for me and my companions on-hobby has become simpler considerably, and also in times has reduced time expenses.

ALGORITHM OF PURCHASE OF THE SPINNING

1 We run inquiry on the given site by a specific criteria - basically, it is length, a casting and the price (personally I  recently interested in fishing-rod weight, but unfortunately, not all manufacturers specify it on official sites).
2 Choose some candidates to  purchase from.
3 Make a little research about them on forums and official websites (it is not necessary to read info from online stores as the material is everywhere almost the same).
4 We go to a regular store (if the price normal  we  grab a chosen spinning, try it and buy if we can’t wait any more.
5 Another option is to look for this particular chosen spinning online, and after the cheapest one is selected – to buy it.

HOW TO SEARCH ON THE SITE

1. Length (lenght) - it is possible to set an interval (on an example it from 231 sm to 270 sm inclusive), is possible only bottom (top)   an interval - then all spinnings more long (more shortly) than 231 (270) sm
2. Bait weight (casting) - it is possible to set an interval from-to, and it is possible to put only one weight - then all spinnings the given weight of a bait gets to whose interval (here difference from sample on length). For beginners I do not recommend to put very wide range - such spinnings do not happen (for example from 3-30) and if Chineses so write - that do not trust them. Really: to put the maximum weight of time in 3-4 it is more from the minimum weight (For example 4-14, 7-28, 15-45, etc.)
3. Action (action) - I do not recommend to put, as the data undertook from sites of manufacturers, and the sensation of a fast, middle and slow spinning at all a miscellaneous, at firms-manufacturers too is subjective.
4. Weight (weight) - it is possible to set the maximum restriction on weight, but not at all manufacturers I have found weight of their fishing-rods (if official representatives can give such information I will it is grateful), therefore there are many zero on weight...
5. The price (price) - here a principle of search such as well as at length. I sell nothing, and the price rough, are taken from different sites, including from Japan (yens). Therefore in Ukraine can differ depending on impudence of the seller; - (

Aha one more, the site works on all separate abilities of the monitor, but to have 1024х768 or more is better, browsers the Opera, Mozilla and ІЕ 7.0 is better.
ІЕ 6,0 and the lowest work - but in process of the limitation and not observance to standards, something do incorrectly (for example at scroll the screen incorrectly position a spinning picture).

For example to look at all fishing-rods of the manufacturer (we press All G. Loomis), the set type (we press Spinning) or a concrete series (it is pressed Steelhead Classic Spin)

Thus, for example, to reconsider all spinnings of a concrete series, a concrete brand, it is necessary to make repeated inquiry with empty parametres and then to go To the menu
